Footsteps - York's Georgia Battery |
| York's Georgia Battery was in the center of Longstreet's breakthrough on the second day. During the advance it was limbering, moving, unlimbering, firing, and then limbering up again in rapid succession. Following its path is a good way to get a feel for the Confederate breakthrough and how the terrain probably contributed to it hooking to the north at Horseshoe Ridge. |
