Fort Wood |
| Fort Wood was one of the forts surrounding Chattanooga in which the Union Army withstood the siege. There are no markers or monuments in the neighborhood, just several artillery pieces. Fort Wood is now a historic district and makes for a nice walking tour of the stately older homes. A yearly Christmas house tour is also conducted. | |||
